The place to go Positive: The rooms were large double beds in each kitchen was good could have a few more pans the views you wouldn't believe till you see it for yourself and the possum who came up every night we have so many photos we gave him a name you can if you go and see him one day don't miss out

Nice experience, but will not come back. Positive: the view was really beautiful Negative: The response for communication (dishwasher is broken) is too slow. The whole period of our holiday, we cannot use the dishwasher.

Quiet, relaxing perfect way to spend our last night in Hobart once we arrived Positive: Outstanding views. Great value for money. Negative: The long driveway road is unsealed and not as well maintained as stated. I didn’t really feel fully safe driving up there in my hire car and am so thankful it was daylight. This needs to be much more clearly communicated to guests plus a larger sign post from Mount Rumney Road wouldn’t go amiss. I absolutely love what they are doing with the property but it looks as if it is still under construction and was very muddy everywhere from the rain.

I booked this accommodation for both the first and last nights of my trip to Tasmania, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Upon arrival, the property was in an unacceptable state: unclean and unhygienic to the point where I felt uncomfortable staying even one night. Based on the condition, I decided to cancel the final night.Unfortunately, the host refused to process the cancellation within the valid timeframe and instead deflected all responsibility onto VRBO. To make matters worse, an unexpected extra payment was charged without notice, and the host refused to refund it despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue. I'm currently in dispute trying to recover the money.Throughout my interactions, the host was rude and dismissive, speaking over me and offering no constructive solutions. I strongly recommend avoiding this property — it caused unnecessary stress and wasted time during what should have been a memorable trip.

We were sorely deceived by your high ratings. Positive: Wallabies didn’t disappoint us. But then again they are not employed by the owners. Negative: There was ZERO heating on a winter’s night. We were up on a mountain, which we TOTALLY LOVE. We were far from civilization so we EXPECTED the house heating system to run well, to be able to keep us warm. The temperature fell below 11degC. We slept with our self-bought heat packs to stay heated. Main heating system in the living room didn’t work. No heating system in the bedrooms. Water from taps n bathrooms freezing cold. Communicated with owners via booking.com but received no reply. Called the number in the house manual n was told number was out of service. Texted Jess and Ella but neither replied. We had a good mind of sleeping in the car. We left the property at 6.30 am cos it got too cold & we didn’t want to die frozen during our vacation. There were muddy shoe prints in the bathroom when we arrived. A used bar of soap was left in the bathroom. Hand soap dispenser was empty. There was shaved facial hair in the bathroom sink. Evidently, the cleaner did not do a good job. Do we get some kind of monetary compensation for the lack of hospitality?
