Platypus Cabin

Positive: The location :) Negative: The lack of a garbage bin to put our pizza boxes. We ended up having to take them with us! Also, maybe have a platypus cabin sign on the building for stupid people like us 😂🤣😅

Beautiful simplicity Positive: Our budget cabin was very spacious and clean, the little heater heated the cabin quite well. The full fridge was great addition and the frying pan was as-new so nothing stuck. To be able to stand outside and just listen to the crickets and ravens was soo relaxing 🤗. Negative: The only thing I would add would be a mat upon entry as it was raining when we turned up and there was nothing to wipe your feet on and some matches or a lighter to start the hotplates on the stove as we couldn't find any.

Bush Retreat Positive: Loved the location, felt like we were a million miles from the city, when in fact we were only 20 minutes. The dogs loved the yard to run around in. Nice place to lay my head at the end of the day. Negative: Platypus Cottage was a bit small for 4 adults and 2 big dogs but okay for a couple of nights. There was nothing to start the oven with but a box matches purchased the next day fixed that. All in all would not stop me from staying there again.
